Nicola Rose is a film director and writer from New York City. Most recently, she completed the coming-of-age comedy 'Magnetosphere,' her second feature film as a director-writer, in Ontario, Canada. The film stars Colin Mochrie, Patrick McKenna, Debra McGrath, Steven He, and Shayelin Martin. The film began its festival run in 2024, most recently playing in the United States at Dances With Films and in Canada at the Hamilton Film Festival.

Previously, Nicola directed and wrote the feature film 'Goodbye, Petrushka,' which premiered at Dances With Films in Los Angeles in 2022 and is now streaming on multiple platforms. Prior to that, Nicola directed and wrote four award-winning short films and has worked as a director, casting director and editor on many additional films.

Nicola is a graduate of Columbia University and the Université Sorbonne-Nouvelle in Paris.
